  The love of Christ is not here from our experiences trying to be members for over 1 year. If you're hurting, you'll be made well aware that your baggage is unwelcome. If you're a super Christian, you'll probably fit right in. We brought our needs and prayers to the leaders on multiple occasions and were told it was our approach, being "too needy", and it was our responsibility to change to be accepted. I guess having your parents die in a car accident, other parents succumb to suicide, and new jobs/city away from your previous fellowship is too much for them to love through and be gentle for a bit of time. We really did try and had to go elsewhere to find loving and compassionate people that did practice what they preached (the general population here is great! I'm just talking about the select leaders that were blatantly unloving when we needed Christ to shine through them in our weakness). They are doing some things right, and I know God has the power to use and redeem us all when we fall short. No one will be perfect, so give this place a try! Just sharing our personal experiences, but that is not where God stops :)
