  Landing at The Austin Stone 7 years ago was life-changing for me. It is everything the previous reviewer, Christy, has said... and more. The worship music is outstanding... heartfelt and soul searching. The messages are scripturally solid... challenging and inspiring. There is nowhere else I'd rather be on Sundays.

  Austin Stone has three campuses (expecting to expand to four near the beginning of next year), the main one is practically near downtown and is held at the Austin High School Gym. It is definitely one of the larger churches that I have attended. There are plenty of services you can choose from which include a 9 AM and 11:15 AM worship service as well as evening worship times at two of the three campuses. There are also a variety of Sunday school classes which gives members the opportunity to directly connect with others, especially since the church is so big! In terms of demographics, most are college students from UT but there are also some young families who also attend.
  
  Stone stands out from other churches in that it focuses on "Missional Communities" where there is a heavy effort in spreading the Gospel to non-believers. There is a "Connect" class that equips new members to spread the Word.
  
  If you are willing to step out of your comfort zone, I would recommend you check this church out and see if you fit in!

  The Austin Stone has enriched my experience as a new comer to Austin in incredible ways. Not only is the preaching incredible but I have made all of my best friends through our Missional Community Group and Life Together Group. I honestly don't know if I would stay in Austin without this church. The church has cared for me in a holistic way, and I know have continual support through the incredible people I have met at this church. I'm here to stay!

  The Austin Stone Community Church has really challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and spread the Good News. Jesus told his church to go and spread the news of Him to anyone who will listen, and the Stone highly advocates this. They get people in with the awesome worship music (unlike anything I had previously experienced), and keep members with the consistent challenging to step out of their comfort zone and spread Christs' love. Highly recommend to anyone, no matter what "level" of faith you think you are. We are all just amateurs compared to Jesus anyway.
