  I am neither anti-mormon nor an enemy of the church, though such labels are used to end debate in the minds of many LDS. Our culture is one of conditioning, not debate. I can not accept that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. His history is not the one I learned in institute. I take no solace in writing this review.

  The Austin Institute of Religion is a little slice of heaven in downtown Austin for anyone wanting to study the gospel of Jesus Christ! There always seems to be a great class to attend, friends just wanting to hang-out or study, and the spirit you feel in the building is amazing! Come and see for yourself!

  This is the place I met up with my wife to go on our very first date. It's also the place where we had our wedding reception. This is the first place I made friends when I moved to Austin 13 years ago. I have seen many people come and go and a few professors come and go. I have been spiritually uplifted and edified in this building. This place is a safe haven for me. I don't know what my life would be like if the UT-Austin LDS Institute did not exist.
