Christopher was really nice presented everything clearly so we understood. Price was right and affordable. As I am in 80s I knew it was to make. Plans for my passing.

Where can I even start? Death, tho a natural process of life, is difficult to deal with when we lose a loved on. In our case, our loved one (my father) took his life suddenly. Although he did not have "visitation" in his cremation plan, I needed to see him before the process was completed, so I begged and pleaded. Neptune was so wonderful to grant my wish. I did not want anything fancy, just the chance to see his face one more time. Neptune set up where we could visit the location where he was to be cremated and had everything set up so lovely and professionally so that we could talk to him, kiss his face and say our goodbyes -- until we meet again. Thank you, thank you Neptune for taking care of everything to make this situation easier to deal with, taking such good care of my dad, and for letting us see him one more time.

As immigrants we work to understand how to live in the new land...
My father died on August 15, 2016. It was very hard for us. First the loss and then dealing with setting up the funeral. There was no funeral plan in place. Since my husband and I purchased a pre-arranged funeral plan from Dignity and we asked for the cheapest and the bare minimum. they sold us two plans one at $3000 and the other at $3500. So I asked them to pull my husbands pre-funeral policy and match that. When we arrived at the funeral home they sat us down in this luxurious room with solid wood, leather and a big screen TV. Nearly like a time share presentation to try and sell us the most and best. Lucky for my mom we were all there to protect her from irrational emotional decisions. Two people were ready to serve us with all the bells and whistles. What will fancy stuff allow my dad to rise from the grave. NO
Then the lady at Cook-Walden/Dignity on William Canon said we had to look at all the options. We insisted (NO); and said we have no money. Finally she understood that my mom at very senior age was working for a local grocery store and there was no way she could pay all the fancy stuff. Finally they got the message. The lady said to us that policy of $3000 that you thought was the bare minimum can be cut in half by our sister company Neptune. My fathers cremation worked out to $1705. Now we want to go back to Cook and Walden after the fact and ask why did not tell us the thruth - why did their salesman said we bought the bare minimum - when you can buy this same pre-arranged plan at $2000. Neptune Funeral home was awesome.Added October 11, 2016 by Zelda Botha - ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆
An unforgettable day! I never been thought of- Really a bad experience to lose one among and then further to carry on all the arrangements at the funeral. Recalling those days again lets me to shower the rain of tears, but the aspiring moment on the day is the community that was along with me to help and complete all the funeral rights. The last memorable moment of my beloved is the only cremation and, the Cremation society made it awesome and let the beloved soul to the paradise of peace and divinity.
