  A congregation that cherishes the tried and true doctrinally sound hymns of Christendom, the historic Christian liturgy, and the historic Lutheran faith, based on Scripture, of Christ crucified for the eternal salvation of a world of lost sinners. This congregation even continues the historic practice of all Christendom by practicing closed communion, rather than sweeping the doctrinal differences between Christian denominations under the carpet. What more can I say?

  I plan to attend this church the next time I visit Austin. I did not come for entertainment or to admire a beautiful church building. I came in hungry and was fed the true Word of God in the Gospel and the Sacraments. I left full! I knew that I was among friends even before I met the other people in the congregation. Visiting this church was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation.
