  Saint John's is an loving, open minded, inclusive church. Marvelous children's programs with Sunday School for all ages. There is a wide variety of small groups offering studies on the Bible, contemporary books, and yoga to name a few. Mission and service opportunities are plentiful and varied. "All are welcome" is not just a slogan at Saint John's...it is who we are!

  There are two services and 9 AM and 11 AM each Sunday. There are great Sunday achool classes for kids of all ages as well as adult ones at 10 AM. There are plenty of activities and energy with lots of projects, classes, and musical variety. The congregation is friendly and welcoming. I was sold once I heard the sermons of Bobbi Kay. She is no longer there as she got promoted to a district UMC position, however David Gilliam, her husband, is just as good and thought provoking.

  Adore my church! We do lots of impactful mission work in the local community and beyond. We affirm all, including the LGBTQ community, and we have amazing pastors and satisfying Sunday morning worship services! One of my favorite things that we do is the October pumpkin patch for the neighborhood. :)

  Nice people, good mix of young and old, many kids, open-minded theology and thoughtful sermons. Very active in the community--IHN, Montopolis Community Center, wheelchairs for Africa, MFSA, a host of others.
  
  My wife and I started here 3 years ago after extensively researching and visiting Methodist and other mainline churches throughout north Austin, and we love the feel at St. Johns. Later, when our son was born, we made good use of the "cry room," which allowed us to care for our infant and still see and hear the service. With the many young people, the kids programs are very active, and there is a daycare on the grounds during the week.
  
  Nice selection of adult Sunday schools and other small groups, strong music programs, and a wonderful preacher (as well as sometime guitarist) in lead pastor David Gilliam. Members dress as they like--which often means casual, especially for the younger folks. A growing, mid-sized church, roughly 300+ attendance? Highly recommended! Check it out.
